How I feel about it

Relieved and disappointed at the same time. I believe it had to be done for the continual development, safety and comfort of not only the people living there, but the people from other cities around them as well. This is important so as not to further expand or spread the negative aspects (such as illegal activities, possible sickness, unhealthy lifestyles) in the development of the whole country and generations to come. However, I also feel disappointed due to the loss of a one-of-a-kind form of art and architecture built up by humanity through decades of progressive development without modern professional input. The community appeared to live in a rundown state but still possessed an optimal standard in terms of scientific and technological development. The unpredictability, simplicity and functionality of the architecture and design concept should have be studied further. Researchers should have taken the opportunity before demolishing the city after evacuating the citizens. We might have been able to make discoveries of various systems which can solve overpopulation problems. Research on the very basics of human needs as a community can also be done. It's sad to lose an example of architecture which is fully focused on the work-ability and other essential aspects which only has the aim of allowing the citizens to continue to stay alive.
